I am so grateful I was referred to Dr Almeyda. I felt like he was so understanding of what I had gone through over the last couple of years and actually listened. He went above and beyond to find out what was going on with my nose and finally I feel like I've been taken notice of and will finally get the outcome I have wanted for so long. Mr Almeyda was extremely courteous and took time to listen to my concerns. The procedure of passing a camera down my nose into my throat is not particularly pleasant but he did it skilfully with minimum discomfort. He the explained in detail what the procedure revealed, referring to computer images. He suggested a further MRI scan and I had an appointment within a few days. His letter explaining the outcome of his examination was mailed to me and my GP the same day. I though him an outstanding physician and a very kind person. Level 2 Townlands Hospital is a vast improvement on the ENT premises at RBH: a much better environment for doctors and patients.

Rob Almeyda undertook a very thorough examination of my condition arranging the necessary scans with a follow up appointment to explain all the options for treatment. He undertook the surgery and promptly conducted post operation examinations to confirm the success of the treatment, with a further review to follow to confirm whether any additional treatment is required. At every stage he took time to explain the procedures in a very friendly and helpful manner. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone requiring Otolaryngology treatment.
